You earn points by adding people (starting at the top of the member list) or by getting other people to sign up. The more points you earn, the higher you are on the member list and the more friend requests you'll get. Getting VIP status puts you ahead of all non-VIP users, no matter what.

1 point for adding normal users.
5 points for adding VIP users.
10 points for referring a user.

Adds are how many people you've added.
Requests are how many people have added you.
Referrals are how many people have signed up through your referral link.
Points are how many points you've earned through various actions.

With our RSS feed it is possible to get an alert in your web browser every time a new user signs up. In the alert there will be a link you can click to add the user. The add registers and you get the point, even if you're not logged in on FastAddz. To get started with your RSS feed, go to your RSS preferences.

If you're tired of getting friend requests, just log in to MySpace and message us with "INVISIBLE" as the subject. We'll make it so other users won't be able to see you, though you'll still be able to log in and add other users if you choose. (Allow up to 24 hours for the change to take place.)

If you ever decide you want to become visible again after choosing to be invisible, just log in to MySpace and message us with "VISIBLE" as the subject. (Allow up to 24 hours for the change to take place.)

If someone else keeps signing you up for this website and you don't want to be here, log in to MySpace and send us a message with "BLACKLIST" as the subject. We'll block your ID from this website so other people can't sign you up maliciously. If you want back in, send us a message with "REJOIN" as the subject. (Allow up to 24 hours for changes to take place.)

If you're using IE 7, it's probably because your security settings are too high. Because of all the Javascript on this website, your security settings must generally be set no higher than "Medium." To change your settings, go to Tools->Internet Options->Security and drag the slider down to medium.
If you're using IE 6, I don't have a copy of IE 6 and probably won't for a while. If you have a copy and are willing to help debug, great. Get in touch. :-)
Aside from this, there's always the option of downloading Firefox.

The 'site only measures full days. So if you bought one week of VIP, an hour or so later your VIP days will say you have six days left. Technically this is true: you have six days and twenty-three hours left. But since the 'site only measures full days, it says "six days." When you're down to 23 hours or so, it'll say you have less than one day left; it used to say 0 days, but this was confusing for some.

Click "Your Trains" in the grey menu bar above. Create a password when prompted. Then follow the train building wizard and voila! Your own train.
Return to the "Your Trains" page later and log in using your password if you ever want to make a change to your train or build more trains.
If you've forgotten your password, message us with "PASSWORD RESET" in the subject and we'll reset your password for you.

You probably had it so that people had to enter your last name or e-mail address or a Captcha. The list gets cleaned off from time to time, and everyone who has a Captcha required (under 10k) or a last name required gets set to invisible. Change your settings and then message us with "VISIBLE" in the subject if you want to be visible again.
